# New Update Package for the iSG Box (via USB)

Hi,

We’ve released a new update package for the iSG Box. This update includes major improvements and fixes, especially for Home Assistant stability  issues.

#### **What’s Updated**

1\. **Home Assistant 2025.12.2 pre-installed**

– Fully resolves previous HA instability and startup problems.

2\. **Fixed Dashboard Weather Issue**

– The issue where the weather widget displayed a network error has been resolved.

3\. **Security Enhancements**

– You can now set your own System Access Password:\
**iSG → Settings → Settings → System Access Password**

#### **How to Update (Please follow the sequence)**

You will need to update **three components** in order:

**1. iSG APK Update**

**2. Container APK Update**

**3. Image Update**

Note: <mark style="color:red;">The downloaded image does not need to be extracted with any decompression software on your computer, and the file name should not be modified.</mark>

#### **Update Steps**

1\. Download all three files to your **computer**.

2\. Copy the files to a **USB drive**.

3\. Insert the USB drive into your **iSG Box**.

4\. Perform updates in this exact order:

**Step 1:**\
\&#xNAN;*iSG → System Update → 1. iSG Update*\
Choose the **iSG APK** from the USB.

Note: <mark style="color:red;">If the iSG shows a black screen after rebooting following the upgrade, simply press the Home button on the remote.</mark>

**Step 2:**\
\&#xNAN;*iSG → System Update → 2. Container Update*\
Choose the **Container APK**.

**Step 3:**\
\&#xNAN;*iSG → System Update → 3. Image Update*\
Choose the **Image update** file.

If you need to keep your HA and Zigbee data, please perform a one-click backup.

Note: <mark style="color:red;">After all updates are completed, please reboot the device.</mark>

**Step 4（optional）:**

You can restore the data in the same location as the backup, but it needs to be done one by one.

Note:<mark style="color:red;">Home Assistant may take a few minutes to start after booting. Please wait patiently.</mark>
