# How to Manually Start the Home Assistant Server

* Go to **Add-on Management**, and click the **Refresh** button and **Update Script** button respectively, as shown in the screenshot.

* After the update is complete (usually takes 10–30 seconds), click on **Home Assistant Server** again.

* Click the **Enable** button to start the server manually.
