Firmware Update
Manually Update firmware of eMotion Sensor
β οΈ Important Notes:
Make sure to confirm your device model before using the upgrade link below. Upgrading with the wrong firmware may cause the device to become inoperable. - eMotion Pro : Devicetype: 44217, PID: 000000000000000000000000b9ac0000 - eMotion Max 1: Devicetype: 44190, PID: 0000000000000000000000009eac0000 - eMotion Max 2: Devicetype: 44246, PID: 000000000000000000000000d6ac0000 - eMotion Max 3: Devicetype: 44254, PID: 000000000000000000000000deac0000 - eMotion Ultra: Devicetype: 44188, PID: 0000000000000000000000009cac0000
If the online update fails, you can use your phone's hotspot Wi-Fi for device pairing:
Enable your mobile hotspot and verify the Wi-Fi name and password.
On iPhone, go to hotspot settings and enable βMaximize Compatibilityβ to support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Update your LinknLink App to the latest version.
Ensure the device connects to the same mobile hotspot used by the LinknLink App.
π§ Manual Update Steps:
Open the LinknLink App, select the eMotion device you want to update, and confirm the device model on the device info page.
Tap the ... three-dot menu in the upper right corner and select Settings.
Tap Firmware Update, then click the URL button in the top right corner of the update page. Paste the correct firmware upgrade link for your device model.
Tap OK to begin the upgrade. If the update fails or an error occurs, please contact us on our Discord server and mention @LinknLink Official for support. https://discord.gg/SstkRMxnT8

1/ Modified temp/humidity and brightness reporting thresholds and intervals for HA.
2/ Optimized radar detection accuracy and speed.
3/ Added entities exposed to HA: brightness, temp/humidity and radar reporting interval, installation direction.
4/ Fixed bug of HA connection for BLE sub-devices.
5/ Fixed bug of saving settings in temp/humidity, brightness and presence.
eMotion Pro
23-05-2025
1. Optimized presence detection logic.
2. Improved presence position detection and filtering for minor fluctuations; refined logic for near/far status (max range ~750cm).
3. Prevent false reporting of βno one presentβ status.
4. Fixed location state not updating properly when values differ from app.
5. Added temperature and humidity sensing.
6. Enabled temperature/humidity parameter configuration.
7. HA button entity_category
changed to βcontrolβ.
8. Added thunderstorm scenario config version: v2
9. Adjusted HA light, temperature, humidity thresholds and reporting intervals.
10. Added HA config for brightness, temperature, humidity, presence, distance thresholds, and thunderstorm-related timing.

Updated network pairing logic: Upon each power-up, the device first enters Bluetooth AP mode with a 4-flash-1s-on / 1s-off LED pattern.
If no Wi-Fi credentials are stored, the device remains in Bluetooth AP mode.
If Wi-Fi credentials are stored, it will exit Bluetooth AP mode and switch to slow blinking (1s-on / 1s-off), attempting to reconnect to the saved Wi-Fi.
Resolved issue of device becoming unresponsive after HA network reboot: Modified behavior to send 4 re-pairing attempts at 30-second intervals after HA MQTT reconnects.
Fixed issue where HA entity and area data would become invalid and not display.
MQTT config messages now use the
retained
flag; removed repeated config re-sending upon MQTT disconnections.
Improved behavior when HA entity/area data is invalid: Now sends
unavailable
status instead of repeatedly sending config data, reducing message spam.

23-06-2025
1. Adjusted HA light, temperature, and humidity thresholds and reporting intervals.
2. Refined HA entity names and added additional attributes (e.g., x, y, distance, speed).
3. Added HA configuration for brightness, temperature, light, and humidity thresholds and reporting.
4. Removed 30s delay in Ultra radar; now re-pairs automatically when HA disconnects.
5. Light, temperature, and human presence parameters are saved correctly.
6. Adjusted HA default reporting intervals.
7. Optimized Bluetooth fallback logic: If Wi-Fi is not configured, after 10s in Bluetooth AP mode, the device flashes light 1s-on/1s-off to enter pairing mode. If Wi-Fi info is stored, it will attempt to reconnect to the saved Wi-Fi.
8. Added telnet
debugging logs.
9. Updated 60G radar driver to v4.15.0.
10. Config topics now include retained
flag for compatibility.
11. HA unavailable status improved to reduce config spamming.
12. Minor adjustment to HA light entity.
