Online Software Update

When the iSG is connected to the internet, it will automatically check for software updates. If a new version is available, a download icon with a red dot will appear at the top right corner of the homepage of any feature. You can click this icon to go directly to the System Update page, or navigate there via Settings > System Update.

The System Update page displays the current software version running on the iSG and the latest available version. If the update has not yet been downloaded, it will show "Not Downloaded". Click New Version, and in the pop-up window, click the Download button to go to the download page.

On the download page, you can click any of the provided links to download the update package. On the next screen, click Download anyway to start the download.

After that, the iSG will automatically return to the System Update page, where you can monitor the download progress of the update package.

Once the download is complete, the status will change to a blue "Downloaded". Click the Update button under New Version to proceed to the installation page.

On the installation page, the default installation method is the online package, and the option to delete the package after installation is checked by default (recommended to save storage space). Click Update to begin the installation.

After the iSG software is installed, the system will return to the iSG homepage. If you're installing a Container or Image, the system will reboot after the installation is complete.

The process for upgrading the Image is slightly different: selecting Update Online will update the image file in real time without downloading the full package (recommended). If the online update fails, select Update from Local Drive to download the offline package. Once downloaded, click the Update button under New Version to start the upgrade.

During the image installation process, the iSG will first back up all settings, then update the image. This may take up to an hour. Do not power off the device during this process. Once the update is complete, the iSG will automatically restore the backup settings and reboot.
