In response to concerns about "limited detection range" raised by some users, our team dedicated months to systemic improvements—from antenna physics to signal processing architecture. Today, we proudly introduce eMotion Ultra, featuring the revolutionary upgrade of our second-generation 60GHz mmWave radar module ADTM6101PJDM41P02, designed by the LinknLink team!

Core Advancements in This Upgrade

1. Antenna Design Optimization: Focused Energy, Extended Range

  • Redesigned 2T2R Microstrip Antenna Layout The second-generation module adopts an upgraded dual-transmit dual-receive (2T2R) PCB antenna structure. By optimizing radiation directivity and beam concentration, signal scattering is reduced by 30%, significantly enhancing effective detection range.

  • Multipath Interference Suppression Improved antenna alignment minimizes environmental reflections, concentrating radar wave energy on target areas and boosting weak signal capture at long distances.

  • Wide Beam Angle Adaptability Retaining the ±60° horizontal/vertical beam coverage, we enhanced edge-region sensitivity through optimized impedance matching, eliminating blind spots in corners and low-ceiling spaces.

2. Transmission Power & Efficiency: Stability Meets Strength

  • Enhanced Effective Radiated Power (ERP) While maintaining a 12dBm standard transmission power, refined RF front-end circuitry reduces transmission loss, achieving a 20% increase in ERP.

  • Advanced Power Stability A low-ripple (≤50mV), high-response power management system ensures stable output in complex environments, preventing performance degradation from voltage fluctuations.

3. Algorithm-Hardware Synergy: Precision Redefined

  • FMCW Signal Processing Upgrade Leveraging the ARM® Cortex®-M3 core, our enhanced processing unit combines improved FMCW signal analysis algorithms to accurately detect static and micro-motion targets, reducing false alarms.

  • Environmental Anti-Interference New dynamic interference masking (via GUI-configurable zones) automatically filters fixed noise sources like AC units and fans, ensuring reliable detection.

  • Optimized Low-Power Mode Intelligently switches to 1T1R mode in unoccupied scenarios, slashing power consumption to 2.5mA while enabling full-performance detection within 50ms of motion triggers.
