Add WiFi Devices

  1. Ensure the devices are already added to the LinknLink App and you have signed in to iSG using the same LinknLink account. If you don't have any devices in the LinknLink App yet, please refer to the device manual to add them.

  2. Click "+" (Add Device) > "WiFi" > "LinknLink" > "Add All" to add all devices in your LinknLink account. Alternatively, you can click "Select to Add" and choose which products you want to add.

NOTE: The "Add All" option requires iSG firmware version 20094 or later.


iSG doesn't support importing devices directly from the BroadLink App. You need to add BroadLink devices to the LinknLink App first and then follow the instructions for "Add LinknLink Devices" to import them to iSG.

But you don't need to set up BroadLink devices again in LinknLink App!

The best approach is to unlock the devices in the BroadLink App, and the LinknLink App will automatically discover these devices on the "Add New Device" page. To unlock the device in BroadLink App, enter device page, navigate to "Device Settings" and disable "Lock Device" option.

Although LinknLink supports the BroadLink protocol and can discover all BroadLink WiFi products in the LinknLink App, there might be still some of them unsupported in LinknLink App. If you encounter any unsupported devices during the adding process, please provide us with two crucial pieces of information: the device model and its PID (found in Device Info in the device settings). We will add support for this device within 24 hours.

Add Tuya / Smart Life Devices

You have two options to add Tuya or Smart Life devices to iSG:

Option 1 - New Setup:

  1. On iSG, navigate to "Devices", then click "+" > "WiFi" > "Tuya" > Select Product Type > Select Setup Mode to proceed.

  2. For the setup mode for Tuya products, please refer to the original product manual for more assistance. For new users, this is easier, but existing users will need to set up the devices again.

NOTE:

  1. Most Tuya WiFi products after 2021 are designed with Bluetooth-assisted setup. If the product can be automatically discovered on the homepage in the Tuya / Smart Life App, it confirms that Bluetooth-assisted setup mode applies.

  2. The Tuya brand entry is also applicable to all its OEM brands, which can also be added to the Tuya / Smart Life App.

Option 2 - Importing Existing Products:

  1. If you already have Tuya products set up on your WiFi network and don't want to set them up again, navigate to "Settings" > "Home Assistant" on iSG and add all Tuya products to Home Assistant.

  2. Then, return to "Devices" and click "+" > "Home Assistant". It will discover all devices added to Home Assistant and let you import them to iSG. This method avoids setting them up again, but you need experience with Home Assistant.

NOTE:

  1. iSG also supports importing devices from your existing Home Assistant instance without using the built-in one in iSG.
