Flashing System

Most bug fixes and new features can be added via software updates. However, under certain rare conditions, such as unexpected system startup failures or critical system fixes, you may need to flash/burn the OS for iSG.
Download PhoenixCard Utility: For flashing via SD card.
Download PhoenixSuit Utility: For flashing via USB cable.
Flashing iSG via SD card is recommended as it is easier. Please use an SD card with at least 4GB of space and a 50MB/s read speed. Note that all data on the SD card will be erased. Both utilities are for PC use only.
To avoid unexpected problems, the image file is not publicly available. Please and explain your issue to request the image file.
Flashing the OS will erase all your personal data. Please use the backup function in iSG to back up your data before flashing.
Insert the SD card into your computer's card slot or use a card reader.
Open PhoenixCard.exe.
Click "Image" to select the image file and choose "Product" for Work Type.
Click "Burn" to start creating the SD card for flashing the OS. You will see a progress bar in the "Status" column.
After the card creation is complete, insert the SD card into the iSG's card slot. Then, power off and power on the iSG. It will automatically start flashing and show a progress bar on the screen.
Important: Do not power off the iSG during OS flashing.
Once flashing is complete, remove the SD card and power the iSG back on to start the OS and applications. You can use the PhoenixCard utility to restore the hidden space used for the OS image.
If flashing with an SD card fails (possibly due to low card speed or other reasons), you can flash the iSG using a USB cable.
Connect a Micro USB cable between your PC and iSG.
Open DPInst64.exe to install the driver for Windows (use DPInst.exe if your Windows is 32-bit).
Open PhoenixSuit.exe and select the image to proceed with flashing.
On the first startup, it may take longer to load all configurations. Once the iSG application is fully loaded and prompts for login, insert the USB drive or SD card containing the backup file. Click "Import Backup" to restore your data.
