Before configuring the WiFi device, please check whether the ISG network is correctly connected to the 2.4G network. If not, please modify the ISG network connection first.
Click the left edge of the screen, select "Devices" from the menu, and then click the "+" in the upper right corner to add a device.
In the pop-up window, select the "Tuya" brand, and then choose the corresponding device type based on your Tuya device.
Tuya has three pairing methods to add the device to the home Wi-Fi network:
①Wi-Fi Quick Connect
②Bluetooth pairing
③AP pairing.
According to the Tuya manual, select the corresponding pairing method. Then reset the Tuya device(For the setup mode for Tuya products, please refer to the original product manual for more assistance. For new users, this is easier, but existing users will need to set up the devices again).
After the reset is successful, click "Next" and select the home Wi-Fi network, enter the Wi-Fi password and click Start configuration.
NOTE:
Most Tuya WiFi products after 2021 are designed with Bluetooth-assisted setup. If the product can be automatically discovered on the homepage in the Tuya / Smart Life App, it confirms that Bluetooth-assisted setup mode applies.
The Tuya brand entry is also applicable to all its OEM brands, which can also be added to the Tuya / Smart Life App.
After successful configuration, choose the floor and room where the device is located in the ISG and click finish. This completes the addition of the Tuya Wi-Fi device which we can now successfully control
PS:
If you already have Tuya products set up on your WiFi network and don't want to set them up again, navigate to "Settings" > "Home Assistant" on iSG and add all Tuya products to Home Assistant.
Then, return to "Devices" and click "+" > "Home Assistant". It will discover all devices added to Home Assistant and let you import them to iSG. This method avoids setting them up again, but you need experience with Home Assistant.
You can refer to the specific steps in "How to import a Tuya device to iSG without resetting it."
